Te Urunga - The Entrance, Crescendo's flagship programme, serves as the gateway for many aspiring artists. Free to all youth aged 15-24, this nine-week journey is a transformative experience where participants immerse themselves in the world of music, discovering new skills and forming lasting connections along the way.
Having had the pleasure of attending the Term 1 graduation and witnessing the students perform, we've seen firsthand the impact of Te Urunga. From mastering the intricacies of song writing to navigating the complexities of audio engineering, participants of Te Urunga emerge with not only newfound knowledge but also a sense of empowerment and belonging.
Supported by mentors who believe in their potential, these young artists step into the spotlight, ready to showcase their talents and make their mark on the world.
